A new name

Well, I know that a name change isn't smart to do regular. Especially if you want to be found, like your blog should be.
But I really gonna change my blogger name from Crea Bloempje666 to My Frizzle.
Why?
Well, Bloempje666 is a very old nickname and I just think this new name will fit me better.
Some people will think strange things when they see the number 666, but there is really nothing to it. I'm not even gohtic or something. Thus this whole name indicates something and it doesn't fit me anymore...
I was 18 when i got this nick, Bloempje is the Dutch word for flower and indicates something sweet. And my birthday is on the 6th. So then you got bloempje6. But that's just like i'm 6 years old. Not funny. 66? also not funny. 666? Well, thats a little more exiting! and that's the one and only thought behind the number 666.
Well, it's exiting when your 18. It gets a bit boring when your 31.

now im 31... I guess it's about time for something new! :P

What's for dinner tonight? Mustard soup!

Dutch Mustard Soup (Zaansemosterdsoep)

Ingredients:
1 litre water
2 chicken or vegetable broth cubes
125 ml (1/2 cup) creme fraiche
2 tablespoons mustard, with whole mustard grains*
125 ml smeerkase (spreadable cheese, you want it to melt well)
4 tablespoons cornstarch
salt and pepper
1 spring onion, chopped
bacon bits

Directions:
Bring water to boil. Add creme fraiche, mustard and cheese; whip until smooth. Add cornstarch. When the soup thickens, add salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with onion. Serve with bacon bits on the side. (but without the bacon, it's a lovely veggie soup!)

Makes 1 litre (4 cups)
*This is traditionally made with mustard from the Zaan. Any mustard with whole mustard seeds will work well too.

Shabby chic tote

Hi there,

A while ago I showed you some pictures of received bags of swap-bot. But I showed you only one of my bags.
So here you go, this is my part of the shabby chic tote.
I made it out of a favorite summer shirt (for cold days), it didn’t fit no more but was too cute to through away…
So there, a new project and a new destiny for my fav summer shirt!
I hope you like it too. I almost wanted to keep him myself!
